Welcome to Cultural Ambiguity

Welcome to Cultural Abiguity, the online home of Joshua David Hulsizer's thoughts and feelings.

Posts here will always come from a place of respect.  Regular posts will be made on Fridays.  Special posts will come at the leisure of the muses.  Posts will generally focus on culture, events, art, design, and social issues - but I'm not setting guidelines.  My thoughts are not limited, so these posts will not be limited in subject matter.

A little bit about me: I was born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I went to Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School for the majority of my high school education.  In three short years there I had changed from an angst-ridden unfocused jerk to a driven passionate young person and met adults who I have based my personal and professional development upon. Lincoln Park was, is, and always will be a huge part of my life.

I moved to Chicago, Illinois in July of 2009 to pursue an Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design at Harrington College of Design.  I am looking to obtain a specialization in Facilities Management.  I instantly fell in love with the city.  Chicago has become my second hometown.  I am currently in my third semester at Harrington and absolutely love school.  Phase II of my professional and personal development has only just began.

What is this blog about? It's about my thoughts and feelings.

It's cultural. It's ambiguous.
